This song was written for marching bands in the late 1800’s, but has crept its way into bluegrass circles…and I’m glad it did! This song is played in the key of C by putting a capo on the 5th fret. I know you’re gonna love this one!

Looks like some of the fiddle tunes that played Double Eagle shift into an F for the second part. Is that correct?

I wonder if you could clarify the bridge that goes into F entering into the second part. I’ve played this tune at several jams, and we all get tripped up because I keep in C in the second part.? Help!!

Howdy @vfmid! Could you tell me a time code or measure in the tab? Also, what do you mean by clarify? The way I recorded it here is the way that I play it. There may be other chord progressions that regionally vary, but I haven’t encountered them.
