Discuss the Banjo lesson: The Shave & a Haircut Lick!

https://banjobenclark.com/lessons/the-shave-a-haircut-lick-banjo-intermediate

This is one of the most important banjo licks we can know, but it’s easy to get in a rut and play it the same way all the time! There are lots of haircuts out there, so let’s expand our style!

Thanks for this lesson @BanjoBen I’m really excited about it

I like the depth of the subject and the way @BanjoBen tries to open our minds to a variety of ways. Also, this is something that I could see as being rather overlooked but really important as a “final impression” Caboose to a piece… the final stamp or musical explanation point!

I think we need to temporarily rename this iconic lick to “I need a haircut - too bad”

@BanJoe, thanks! The playing cards were primarily intended to help me through the video editing process. There are spring-loaded clothes pins on the bottom of the cards so they would stick up high enough to be properly visible.
