@BanjoBen @Jake I installed my own banjo spikes with a hand drill. I accidentally went too far on one and the bit went all the way through the neck. It’s a very small hole of course, but will this cause any harm to the banjo? Should I put just a dab of super glue in the hole to seal it? It’s not an expensive banjo but also not a very cheap one either.
It shouldn’t threaten the integrity of it. You can mix some sawdust with wood glue and put it in the hole, or super glue is fine if you don’t care that it looks perfect.
