What is a major scale & why do we need it? That’s what we cover first, then dive into finding the scale INSIDE our chord positions, plus a daily practice exercise!

The timing of this lesson couldn’t be better. I’m looking forward to getting home and diving in to it today.
Will you be following this up with a Minor Scale Study. ?
Thank goodness it says “banjo beginner!”
Honestly, I am looking forward t this one!
This is terrific! I’ve been thinking lately that I should start adding scale work to my practice routine; your lessons are always so well presented and organized, I can’t wait to get into this one!
Sure, I can attempt that.
Thank you so much! Honored to have you on the forum!
My weakest area…
You think you could work in the D Waypoints lesson with all of this? Seems like completing that series with D and then maybe a lesson on how to tie them all together would go perfectly with this new lesson + a minor scale study.
Happy to see a new Beginner banjo lesson. And especially one on this topic!
Let us chat about this.
Ben gave me permission to keep reminding him about it until he gets it done, otherwise I’d probably be afraid, too.
I remember him telling you to remind him. He just has too many balls in the air right now.
Yes! THat would be awesome. Been waiting for that one for a long time.
I’ll remind Archie to remind Mark to remind Ben
Hey Y’all can someone remind @Mike_R to remind ME to remind @Mark_Rocka to remind @BanjoBen so he doesn’t forget he has to do somethin. Now what was it he had to do ? @Mark_Rocka I’ve forgotten already.
