Sorry to hear that @pastorbrianboisselle Bryan. Wish I could offer up more suggestions. Maybe the banjo is not the best instrument for you. That said I can recall seeing a video on YouTube many years ago where the banjo player had lost several fingers on his fretting hand. Somehow he played like a pro banjo player, it was really inspiring to watch. I’ll just add that the learning process can take a little time and a lot of perseverance, baby steps at first. Don’t try eat the whole cake in one sitting. Good luck
