If you note in my arrangement I am picking melody notes as Lisa sings. It’s all simple stuff and doesn’t overwhelm the vocals. When Lisa plays her guitar solo I shift to Murphy’s backup which is busy with all those triplets and chord changes but the guitar melody notes still dominate. I finish with a simple improvised break that just naturally flowed from my head.

“internalized” is the keyword. Once internalized, you’re good to go. The point of those more basic passes is to make it internalized. Great job!
