I met this kid in a jam at Galax and we stuck around afterward picking tunes for a while. He’s my age, only been playing about 3 years and really blew me outta the water!!

No wonder the kid blew you out of the water. He has more examples of great pickers at his age then you did when you were his age! 
He’s great at the guitar. I was surprised he didn’t place higher than 5th place at Galax but I’m sure he was glad because he didn’t even place last year. Nice job both of you!
I got to jam with him a little bit on the last night. He’s really good. I had been subscribed to him since before Galax.
