After years of messing about with banjo TABs I have just figured OOT I can copy and paste the TAB from the Guitar GB & D strings into the banjo layer and have the bulk of a banjo solo after a few adjustments.

Here’s a related handy thing: You can copy and paste notes from any instrument to another (assuming it has the range to cover it). Go into options and show standard notation. Copy the notes from the source (like a guitar standard notation) and paste it into the standard notation for you target instrument. You can also use this to get a good head start on transcribing between tunings. For example, you can copy from a standard guitar to a DADGAD guitar.
