I was helping a new friend go through his banjo collection and make sure each one was set up right. We pulled the back off of one of them and found this. He’s 80 and said he doesn’t know if he just forgot about it or he never knew.

This guy’s collection has a LOT of zeros behind the $. He has 25 banjos, including a custom build from Charlie Cushman when he worked for Gibson.
