I learned your lick tonite. This is a very good lick. It is similar to something I was working on off the first string and further down the neck. I ran out of room and notes. Your chromatic drop on the third string, seventh fret to the 6th fret added an extra note I needed. This is great. I’ve been playing your lick with some bluegrass backing tracks tonite, and I really like the bluesy sound.
Thanks for sharing this. I am impressed that you were able to hear this and pick it out from an old Goodman album. Good listening skills. I’m working on my listening and running away from tab as much as possible, so these little reels like you posted make great lessons for me.
