Clyde’s Music Barn is in Carthage NC southeast of Seagrove off of US74. Seagrove is known for pottery and often referred to as Jugtown. The name “Jugtown” goes back to the days of prohibition when the potters made jugs for the moonshiners. I have spent whole days riding through the this part of NC visiting the potteries.
The NC zoo is located at Asheboro. It is the worlds largest natural habitat zoo. A family can easy spend a whole day seeing the animals. I recently went to a show at the Liberty Showcase Theater. This was a movie theater built in 1949, and converted into a venue to host musical performances.
