Chords in Waypoints Lesson

In the G major Waypoints lesson, at measure 25, the TEF indicates that the chord is a “B” but isn’t it really an Eminor? But if a B, what is a B chord doing there? Thanks! And Happy Easter to everyone in this Forum!

My knowledge of music theory is pretty dire but I do know that B in a G scale is the Minor Third, Minor iii and the reason it is in this exercise I guess is because it’s a passing tone and it ‘SOUNDS RIGHT’

Check out this interactive Circle of Fifths I find it helps me a lot when I am stuck. You’ll need to click on the G TONIC in the left column

The note that you’re playing on the first string when fretted on the 21st fret is a B note.

This is all good. Thank you!
