Cabin Camp at Exeter

The one day Cabin Camp yesterday in Exeter, Missouri was so much fun despite a little rain. The surprise of the day was Alan Munde’s appearance and input in the banjo class . I was surprised at how much I could learn in one day. Thanks Ben to you and your staff for a really great day! The Lord willing I will do this again.

Sounds awesome, glad you had such a good day. Somehow I missed that. I am a beginner on banjo, so I bet it would have been really helpful. If they do another one, someone please remind me.

If you’re signed up for emails you’ll get a notice when the camps open for registration.

Thanks. I have become bad at reading emails in a timely fashion.

Or for that matter, remembering what I read.

Mike, are you coming to the fall camp in Kilgore?

I agree 100%. It was a fantastic day. My brain is still a bit on overload after the mandolin class. The staff and everyone involved went above and beyond. I’d absolutely go again.

I really liked the group jam session at the end of the day.

It was so much fun. Yesterday was the first time I had ever played with others and that jam session was amazing.

It looks like I am going to have to get in the loop/get on my game/etc. I didn’t know about Kilgore camp until you mentioned it. Looks like it is sold out already. In all honesty, I hadn’t been keeping close tabs on the camps as I had commitments here including two diabetic cats, and one had pretty significant needs… as a result, I haven’t traveled much for a few years. That cat passed away a few months ago, so maybe I’ll start traveling more again.

@Mike_R
Sorry to hear about your cat. We’ve got two sickly cats (we rescued &bottle fed at 2 wks old) - I’m familiar with what its like to try and keep them healthy…

And as for the TX camp, it’s not too late - it’s not sold out (yet), it actually goes on sale TONIGHT 5/17 at 7pm central time! If you’re interested, make sure to refresh the page right at 7 when it goes live.
