C licks

I’m not new to this but I still classify myself as a beginner. I’m looking for some licks to use in the key of C, I’ve not played out of C much and I’ve joined up with a group of guys at church that favor this key. Maybe I’m missing something on the site, if so, I ask you kind folks send me the right direction. Thanks a bunch!

Ok, here’s a lesson from Ben. Hope this is helpful!

I’m sorry, I didn’t specify, c licks for the banjo. Thanks for your help though.

Hi @billyhatter77 Billy welcome to Ben 's Forum. I encourage you to work through Ben’s Beginner Learning Track. This website has a ton of C Lick’s and many lessons in the Key of C but the best way to learn them is through Ben’s structured program.

Real Deal Pick 'n Fill is a good one!

And this will help familiarize you with different positions in C:

Hey @billyhatter77, go to the banjo lesson page, scroll down and select the tag on the left margin that says “key of C”. It will bring up all the arrangements and lessons dealing with the key of C…tons of licks, both in licks lessons and located inside the tune arrangements. Enjoy!
