Hi folks! Just a quick scheduling update: I’m moving my “Banjo in America - at Home!” concert to Saturday, April 25 at 7 p.m. Mountain Time. This concert was scheduled for this weekend.
Sunday’s “Bluegrass Trio Harmony Singing Crash Course” workshop is happening on Sunday, April 19th at noon Mountain Time right here on this Facebook page. I hope you’ll join Babi, Corey and me for a fun, sing-a-long session.

Let’s sing together this Sunday! Join Babi, daughter Corey and me (The Evans Family Singers!) on Sunday, April 19th at noon Mountain Time for a “Bluegrass Trio Harmony Singing Crash Course” workshop right here on this Facebook page (Bill Evans).
You will try your voice out for each of the three parts in a bluegrass trio (called the lead, tenor & baritone) and you’ll explore the different ways to arrange these parts depending upon the range of the singers and the key of the song. You’ll also understand how to arrange parts when men and women are singing together and learn the secrets of finding a harmony part on the fly in a jam session. All ages are welcome and there’s no need to bring an instrument – just bring yourself, as many friends as possible and your voices!
