Friday night I’m going to see Nickel Creek at at theater in Dallas. I’ll be up in the balcony but I’ve never seen Thile or the Watkins so I’m pretty excited. My wife doesn’t really like all the facial reactions that Thile does when he plays, so the balcony was a good location for her to enjoy 
We are also going to spend some of the day Saturday at the Bloomin Bluegrass festival in the DFW area (Farmers Branch). I going to bring our travel guitar, trying to get my nerve up to join in some of the picking areas (maybe I will relabel it rhythm strumming area). I’m still debating in my head keeping up with a guitar at the festival but we will see.
