What is the best hotel to stay at for the Texas camp, April 11,12,13? I may be flying my airplane to the local airport, KGGG, so something close to there and also not too far from Ben’s place.

I am staying at the Hampton Inn in Kilgore. I’ve stayed there every camp and it’s not too far from the farm, but I’m not sure how far it is from the airport,

There are closer ones to the airport, @HeloSteve. Reach out to Amy as she has recommended hotels on that side of town.

Also, my plane should be in maintenance, so if you wanted to fly into KRFI you could probably have use of my hangar. It goes in Monday, don’t know how long they’ll keep it but I assume through the week.

Good to know! Hampton Inn is just my speed and I’m seriously considering Kilgore in April 2025.
