Ben, how'd the preaching go?

How’d it go this past Sunday? I was personally excited to read about the joint service with the Hispanic congregation. I’m sure it went well.

By God’s grace, I made it through my first bilingual sermon (well, it’s by his grace I make it through ANY sermon). I’ve preached a handful of times in Spanish only, but both languages was a different challenge, and I learned a lot in the process. Mainly, I learned that I would love to do more of it in the future. Perhaps the toughest part was preparing only a ~20 minute English sermon to give time for translation. There are many more qualified than me, but perhaps the Lord has more of this in his plans. The sermon starts at about 40 minutes in, which should be where this link begins if you wanna watch:

I want to watch. Thanks

I’ve preached multiple times in Latin America through an interpreter. I can’t imagine preaching simultaneously in English and Spanish! Great job.

I just confirmed a trip to El Salvador in June, teaching a theology course on the Holy Spirit. Going to be a huge challenge!

I’ve watched and listened half way through a few nights ago.
Your confidence is amazing, for me it’s difficult to keep attention for so long,
a shorter message to the point would be more fruitful.

Your bilingual is impressive, maybe your challenge is to add a language
every year !
