What’s going on over there guy’s - I am suddenly seeing lots of banjo teachers sporting whiskers or changing their hair style. Would growing a beard and letting my hair down help me develop better banjo skills.
What has seeded this sudden trend ?

No Earl had the big space between his teeth, which Jim Mills tried to copy. What I am referring to is all the young teachers who have grown whiskers in this past year or so.

I think there’s a general hair growth thing going on with COVID shutdowns. Where I work there are several folks who decided to suspend haircuts and shaving until things go back to normal. Yes, after a year and a half they look like Robinson Crusoe or worse. Several were discussing ponytail lengths the other day. A friend down the road gave up and shaved everything off, including a buzz cut of the hair on his head—didn’t recognize him at first. Lots of extremes.
