I figured this might be a good place to pool our ideas and post the little things that help our banjo playing or instrument care with tips, hacks, or ideas.
Here’s my hack: My Snark tuner mount was loose & falling off the banjo. I placed Gorilla Snot pick grip in the clips that attach to the banjo and it hasn’t fallen off since.
Other tips?
I had the same problem, but I never liked the clips anyway. This little gizmo is perfect!
If you wrap a little tape around a CR2032 tuner battery, you can store it between the blade of a thumbpick and the bottom of a tension hook.
But then I don’t know why I keep a tuner with my banjo anyway, let alone a spare battery for it. 
Really? I always found mine was way too tight. Another reason to keep a cheap spare thumbpick around a tension hook… you can use it to help get off stubborn tuner mounts.
That’s what I’m using the gorilla snot on - at times, it would just fall off as it was a little loose.
I’m sure every banjo is a little different. (I have a Recording King)
I like using the same pick for each finger since the bends are a little different so I bought gold and silver colored ones. I’m now using gold on middle and silver on my index…
I use the same pick for each finger too. When I store my picks I place the one I use for my index inside the one I use for my middle finger. I lightly squeeze them together so that I can pop them on my fingers when I am ready to play. Also storing them like that helps reduce the chances of them being crushed and tangled. How annoying is it when your picks get locked together like antler horns when your friends are waiting for you to kick of a tune.
I have one of those on a top tension style banjo. I had to use a utility knife to make the slots for the brackets a little bigger. Now it fits great.
I wish I had that problem, my friends don’t like bluegrass.
I also store my picks like @Archie does but I will also slip my thump pick through the finger bands that way I have all three. I also story my 5th string capo behind the nut on the low d string. Sorry to hear that @Hillbilly_picker.
Yeah I need to find somebody to pick with.

FYI, Snark came out with a tuner that has a reinforced socket
