Great Job Guys
Great Job Hannah, What a lovely smile you have too.
Harrison, pretty good intonation! Youâve got a good start on it!
Tough instrument to begin on for sure!
If you donât mind, I have a couple of suggestions for things you can try.
Bow doesnât need to be that tightâŚjust tight enough so the bow doesnât hit the strings.
Right arm is looking pretty goodâŚyouâre doing a great job of playing from the elbow like youâre supposed to. But, the whole arm should move up or down from the shoulder when you change strings. If you look at your forearm you can see it is slanted upâŚit âshould beâ straighter. (more level).
also, your wrist should be bent the other way so that the wrist is higher than the frog (fingers).
Ben has a video on the site where he has a guest teaching mando (Kassel scrape amaybe?) and he starts by just loosely waggling his hand back & forth before he even hangs on to the pickâŚthat is the loos type of motion that is used when controlling the bow.
Sounding awesome Brandon.
Wow Hannah that was great, I the chicken.
First time?! Get out of town! That was great! If my first try had been half that good Iâd be playing professionally today. You might be in for a career change soon.
