At my house tomorrow night...😉

Tomorrow night I’m hosting a house concert for a student of mine who is completing his masters degree from Univ. Louisiana Lafayette. He has gathered together one heck of a band: Josh Williams on guitar, James Kee on mando, Mickie Harris on bass, Doc Springer on fiddle, and Kristin Scott Benson and myself guesting on double banjos. Gonna be a ball! Many special guests in the audience too like Kenny & Amanda Smith, Kyle Cantrell, Ronnie Reno, Russ Carson, and others. Wow, what a night.

Unfortunately, it’s 110% chance of thunderstorms! So, we’re moving it into the porch/living room…should be intimate. Wish y’all could be here!

Maybe livestream a song or two? You’re right, that’s an impressive lineup.

Wow! That’s awesome. Have a blessed, fun and memorable night!

I am hosting some music Thursday night too, but my lineup and guestlist doesn’t have quite that punch  I am pretty sure at this point everyone is hopeful that I DON’T play banjo

There is software that can flip video’s. Can’t seem to expand to full screen

Wow what a great house concert. A history of bluegrass banjo tunes that included Monroe, Scruggs, Reno, Jimmy Martin, Alan Munde, Ralph Stanley, JD Crowe, The Osborne Brothers and many more. A good mix of tempo too from slow waltz to blistering breakdowns. A fantastic evening of entertainment. Just a pity the time run out on the tape as the big guns took to the stage,

Best wishes to Benjamin Richey with your masters degree and your music career.

Thank you @BanjoBen and all involved in sharing this with us.

For those still trying to expand the screen. Click on the Facebook F logo on the control bar. Enjoy.

As Archie mentioned, I loved the variety of styles and tempos. kept me interested all the way through (which is rare). A mighty fine show!
