I stumbled on this little gadget whilst watching an Australian Bluegrass Festival Documentary video. My grandson is currently in Sidney and I’ve been doing a little research to assist him find music festivals close to where he is at.

I actually have one of those rollmonicas! Some of the notes on the harmonica don’t work so I need to figure out how to redo it. I need to go find it. It’s been a while since I’ve used it.
The Rolmonica (and Playasax) were made by QRS- the company that has made player piano rolls for well over 100 years, and continues to make rolls and modern player piano systems. They’re pretty fun- if not a little finicky.
