Any Beginner/Intermediate Players in Chicago: re Jam

Hey Folks,

Early Intermediate player here looking to see if there are any folks in Chicago that would be open to a laid back jam to work on basics. All Levels Welcome and looking to take it slow until we get our legs.

Have you ever been to the “Banjo After Dark” jam? I was in Chicago last year doing some training for work, and I stopped by. I didn’t even have an instrument with me and somebody let me play their guitar.

Not sure if they organize jams, but they hold classes for a variety of topics and skill levels at the Old Town School of Folk Music. I think you’d able to get connected with other pickers there.
