Account profile information

I started with a gifted gold pick membership from my wife and was setup with my name (Todd Sneed) and email which is toddsneed903@gmail,com. We decided to take advantage of a yearly price special for membership but had to use my wifes name and email to set it up and then cancel the one I had. Maybe we just didn’t know how to correctly do this but I am asking if there is a way to put my profile information back on this account now so the emails will come to my email address. Currently the profile name is Melendy Sneed and the email address is lendy0116@gmail.com. Thank you for your help.

Hey Todd! Welcome to the forum. Yep, you can easily change the name and email address associated with your account.

First, click the “My Account” button in the top right:

Then, click “Edit”:

This will then allow you to change the email and name associated with your account.

Good morning Michael,
I did go through the process you described and it showed changed but the next morning, I got an email saying my payment failed and when I went back onto the website, it still had my wife’s info.
I’m thinking it sent me the email about payment failed because that is the account we cancelled. I will it try again but didn’t want something to make it where I can’t access the lessons. Right now it still shows my wife’s name/email but at least I can get to the lessons.
Will let you know what happens.

I tried again to edit the information and changed the password. Logged out and had to use wife’s email with the new password to get in. It accepted password change but not an edit to name and email. Thank you in advance for any help,

Interesting, so it’s just not updating the name and password after you click Save to change it?
I can change your name on the admin side of things, and think I can reach out to someone who can change the email address.

I would appreciate it. I’m just wondering if it is because it’s the same email and name the cancelled account was listed in? Not my area of expertise for sure. Thank you very much for your help.

Sorry, Didn’t answer your question. It did accept the password change, just not name/emails edit.

That could be the cause. I changed your name to Todd Sneed earlier, and it briefly displayed, but switched back to Melendy. I just set it as Todd S; we’ll see if that stays.

I just changed the name on your old profile to Todd S, and that allowed me to change your new profile to Todd Sneed. So, I think the duplicate name was the cause.

I’m guessing that the emails are the same way. Are you able to log into your old account? If so, change the email to an unused email address, and I think you will then be allowed to change your current account to your desired email address. If you’re unable to log in, I’ll reach out to Julia or Amy who should be able to do it.

Yeah, I just pinged Amy and Julia. The name again switched back to Melendy after I changed it. You’ll be in good hands @lendy0116!

Thank you, Michael. I was not able to log into old account to change email. Only the lendy0116@gmail.com

Hi Amy, Thank you for your help. Since I logged out and back in using toddsneed903@gmail.com, I can’t click on the FORUM tab from the home page dashboard. It gives me a message that there is a problem with my account. I went through the HELP tab and then into help forum to respond to you.

Thank you @cboling, still have to go through the HELP tab on dashboard to get to this forum page, but it is being worked on. All is good. I will be checking out the forum more for sure.
