What are y'all up to?

Purchasing the physical product is pretty much the only way for the artist to receive any significant amount of money.

There are so many factors that go into it. Though the studio (mics/engineer/preamps) is a big one, the mixing/mastering process makes just as much difference.

Just wanted to share that yesterday I got to meet my one day old grandson. The baby, my daughter, and son-in-law are doing fantastic. I really enjoyed seeing my wife v being a grandmother, she’s so excited (she’s already said to them she wants to get him a guitar). Luckily we can spend a few days with them.

Ate the best taco of my life here in Mexico…we were able to get down for a couple days to celebrate a dear friend’s BD. I haven’t been to Mexico since 2005 maybe? But have plans to go 3 times this year, twice more for mission trips.

The top one is steak, next one is al pastor…it was the pastor that was the best I’ve ever had!

This is at a place called Taqueria El Paisa near the art district in San Jose del Cabo. It was from an Uber driver’s recommendation.

Ken Ratcliff, a mandolin builder in Kentucky, just gave Leo this new mandolin this week! It’s a really nice instrument, so thankful for his amazing generosity! Just thought I’d share a clip of Leo playing it… and a thanks to @Mason_Crone for sharing the Mandolin Cafe link with us a few weeks ago

The rest of us are just moving to the backseat already. Leo’s 8 years old and has 5 mandolins, 3 of which have been given to him.
