J hook Question

I am having problem with the J hooks on my banjo coming loose. About once a week I have to take the resonator off and tighten everything.

Is this a normal thing banjo issue or is there something I can do to remedy this?

I would loosen them and then try to tighten them all to similar tension. If you have 3 in a row where the two on the outsides are tight, the middle hook will come loose as it’s not holding any tension.

Tension hooks should be tightened to equal pressure just like wheel nuts on a truck.
