Discuss the Guitar lesson: Sally Goodin'- Guitar

https://banjobenclark.com/lessons/sally-goodin-guitar-advanced

Let’s dive into four solos for this essential fiddle tune! We’ll modify it with blues notes, discuss how to carry the melody down an octave, and then jump all the way up and learn how to play out of chord shapes up the neck!

What are the specs on the guitar being used in this lesson? It looks like it gave a little more relief for your shoulder than the standard dreadnought design does. I have shoulder issues and had to sell my D 18 because of shoulder pain.

Thanks

Ben… So glad you have posted a lesson on the very standard fiddle tune Sally Goodin… My observation is that on the backing track @ 150 bpm I can play the G note on the 6th string but the D note is too low to play which compels me to play the 3rd and 4th strings of those notes, which are a octave higher. Including a quick run through on back up is really really helpful… You are the Man. Ty ty BT

Ben… as an addendum… I just realized your Jam track is in the key of A not a capo’d G shape, so the low E is present at 150bpm… Backup run thrus are still helpful… U da Man. BT
