Jack,
I think @anon8000755 could be a motivational speaker!! “Ride like the Wind” is always good advice. One lesson I found that helped me with cleaner playing is Hop Skip and Jump. It got pretty boring after a while of playing it over and over, but it helped my pulloffs and hammers tremendously.
Dexterity...or lack thereof
One that I liked (and need to go back to because it’s been so long) is Ben’s intro to melodic banjo.

The nice thing about this lesson is that it’s quick to learn, but tough to master. Even better, once you’ve mastered it, you can apply what you’ve learned to several other lessons on the site.
What a great response Will. Thanks so much. You have the gift of encouragement.
Agreed Mark. Was working on that one the night before last. Thank you. Jack
Great suggestion Brandon. Haven’t worked on that one for quite a while. Going to NY for several days. I’ll have my banjo with me and will be working on that one a bit.
Sage advice Archie. Thank you. And I admit, I sometimes feel just a bit disloyal when I visit BHO or the Deering site.
Hope you’re feeling a bit re-energized.
I know I’m doing better just going through these posts.
Appreciate it Jono. I can totally relate.
Appreciate it…so much great input.
