I was hoping to find another way… without YouTube posting… or… can you restrict access on YouTube but share here?

Yes…the option is given when you upload…if you mis that you can go to “manager” and edit the settings later.

When you upload a video to your YouTube account, you can set it to Public, which can be searched by anyone, Private, which can’t be searched, but can be directly linked to, or Hidden, which can’t be seen by anyone but you.

See @Mark_Rocka post. I know of no other way to link video’s to the site. Not familiar with Google Drive either. BTW your video is showing INVALD SOURCE

Will, did you click on share at the bottom of this page, and then paste in the share link that you created? If not, that should work for you. Let me know if you run into any issues.

By the way, I saw the same thing I’m seeing when I tried posting a link the first time. It wasn’t until I created the shareable link on Google Drive and then clicked share and pasted in the link I created.
